Out of 1.81 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, 1,843 aspirants have been shortlisted to appear for the Main examination. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced the Group 1 Preliminary Examination Results 2025 on Thursday, August 28. Out of 1.81 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, 1,843 aspirants have been shortlisted to appear for the Main examination. The preliminary exam was conducted on June 15, 2025 , across 38 district centres and 6 taluk centres. A total of 2,42,829 candidates had registered for the test, of which 1,81,422 appeared.
