CBSE will release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 answer key along with the candidates’ response sheets by January 1 or 2. The results are expected around January 6 or 7, as per CBSE officials.

The CTET 2024 results are expected a week after the answer key release, giving candidates a clear idea of their scores by January 6 or 7.

HOW TO CHECK CBSE CTET 2024 ANSWER KEY
Follow these steps to access the CTET 2024 answer key:

Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in
Click the CTET 2024 answer key link on the homepage.
Enter your roll number and date of birth.
View and download the provisional answer key.
Raise objections if necessary by paying the required fee.
Save the payment receipt for reference.

Once released, the provisional answer key will allow candidates to challenge any discrepancies. Fees paid for successful challenges will be refunded to the same account used for payment.

CTET DECEMBER 2024 EXAM OVERVIEW
CBSE conducted the CTET December 2024 exam on December 14 in two shifts, each lasting 2.5 hours. The exam included:

Paper 1: For candidates aiming to teach Classes 1–5.
Paper 2: For those targeting Classes 6–8.
To qualify, candidates need at least 60% (90 out of 150 marks). Reserved category candidates require 55% (82 out of 150 marks).

Candidates clearing Paper 1 can teach Classes 1–5, while those clearing Paper 2 are eligible for Classes 6–8 in CBSE-affiliated schools.

 As per AICTE, B.Tech seats have witnessed an eight-year high in 2024-25 session. The majority of seats filled by three southern states. The number of BTech seats available across India has witnessed an impressive eight-year high after years of downward trend, says All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
