What's the world's happiest country? Global emotional survey revealed

Which country is the most stressful? Where do people feel like their countrymen and women treat them with the most respect? Where are people more likely to be sad?

A new global poll by the international survey company Gallup asked 140,000 people around the world how they feel, with the goal of creating a global emotional temperature map.

INDONESIA, MALAYSIA

Indonesia and Malaysia topped the list for the world’s most well-rested countries, while 99 per cent of people in Paraguay said they were treated with respect all day long.

Shinzo Abe: Japan ex-PM injured after reported gunshot attack

Mr Abe was shot at twice while he was giving a speech, causing him to fall to the ground. His attacker has been arrested. Ex-Tokyo governor Yoichi Masuzoe said in a tweet that the 67-year-old Mr Abe was in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest. The term is often used before a death is officially confirmed in Japan. The Fire and Disaster Management Agency confirmed that Mr Abe had a bullet wound on the right of his neck, and also suffered subcutaneous bleeding under the left part of his chest. The war in Ukraine is entering a new phase as Russian troops mass in the south in preparation for a Ukrainian counter-offensive, western analysts believe. The new front line emerging near Zaporizhzia has led to renewed concern over the safety of the city's nuclear power plant after Russia and Ukraine accused each other of shelling the site.
