Actor Vijay Deverakonda, who has been on a promotional spree for his pan Indian film Liger, on Saturday strongly reacted to the boycott culture that has gripped Hindi cinema and its actors of late, even as ‘boycott Liger movie’ trended on Twitter with over one lakh tweets. During a press event in Vijaywada, the Arjun Reddy actor addressed the issue by stating that he is unfazed by the boycott trend as the Liger team has put in their heart and soul into the film. A 13-year-old minor girl was gang-raped by six persons for four days in Patna, an official said on Monday. The accused kidnapped the victim from Buxar and took her to Patna where they kept her in a room and gang-raped her for four days. The accused finally abandoned her at the Dumraon railway station in Buxar district before fleeing. The Buxar police managed to arrest two persons and a hunt was on for the remaining four. The incident occurred on August 16 when the victim stepped out of her home in a village under Murar police station in Buxar district to buy copies. She was kidnapped by four persons and taken to a house in Patna. The house was on rent and the two other accused were residing there. All six accused raped her for four days. Since, the victim was missing from the house, her parents initially searched her everywhere and finally lodged a missing complaint in the Murar police station on August 19. A brazen car bombing in a Moscow suburb that killed the daughter of a prominent backer of President Vladimir V. Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has injected new uncertainty into the six-month war and rattled Russia’s elite.  The Russian authorities said on Sunday that they had begun a murder investigation into the killing of Daria Dugina, 29, a hawkish political commentator who was the daughter of the philosopher Aleksandr Dugin, long a leading proponent of an imperialist Russia who has been urging the Kremlin to escalate its assault on Ukraine. Russian state television described the car bombing, which occurred on Saturday evening on a highway and shattered the windows of nearby houses in an affluent Moscow suburb, as a “terrorist act” and said the intended target had been Mr. Dugin. Cineworld has confirmed it is considering filing for bankruptcy in the US, as the cinema chain continues to struggle with $5bn worth of debt. But the company, which also owns the Picturehouse chain in the UK, insisted its cinemas "remain open for business" and that there would be "no significant impact" on jobs. Cineworld employs more than 28,000 people globally. Cineworld Like other cinema chains, Cineworld was hit hard by the pandemic. Many theatres were forced to close for extended periods during the lockdowns, or had to operate at a reduced capacity due to social distancing rules. The price of Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) software will rise to $15,000, the electric car maker's chief executive, Elon Musk, has said. Oil prices fell in early trading on Monday on concerns related to a slowdown in demand in China, the world’s second-largest economy, the possibility of Iranian crude coming back to the market and a US dollar rally. Brent, the global benchmark for two thirds of the world's oil, was trading 1.60 per cent lower at $95.17 a barrel at 11.13am UAE time on Monday. West Texas Intermediate, the gauge that tracks US crude, was down 1.80 per cent at $89.14 a barrel. “Lacklustre Chinese data last week has seen demand concerns continue to outweigh any supply-side issues, despite warnings around upcoming tightness in the market from the new Opec secretary general,” said Emirates NBD’s Mena economist Daniel Richards. In an interview with Bloomberg last week, Opec secretary general Haitham Al Ghais said global oil markets remained at risk of a supply squeeze.
