Realty firm M3M India has bagged a 13-acre land parcel in Noida through e-auctions and plans to invest around Rs 2,400 crore to develop a mixed-use project, its director Pankaj Bansal said on Wednesday. M3M India, which has a major presence in Gurugram, will be foraying into Noida property market through this project. "We have secured a 52,000 square metre plot in Sector 94 through an e-auction conducted by the Noida Authority. We will be entering into the Noida market through this land acquisition," Bansal told PTI. The land has been bought at Rs 827.41 crore through auction, he said, adding that the total acquisition would reach Rs 1,200 crore including lease rent and registration charges. "We are targeting to launch this mixed-use project, comprising of housing, retail and serviced apartments, in February-March next year," Bansal said. Asked about the funding of this project, he said the company is in talks with financial institutions to raise funds. Bansal said

An order by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will now allow residential redevelopment projects in the national capital to achieve a height of 17.5 metres without the need for no-objection certificate (NOC) from the fire department, provided the building has stilt floor as parking. Prior to this order, residents or builders were allowed to construct buildings only up to 15 metres height where no fire NOC was needed. However, where the height exceeded the 15- metre cap, an NOC was required from the fire department. Real estate and town planning experts say that with the new MCD order residents can look forward to more height, space and light in redeveloped buildings. However, it will also push up the cost of properties by 5 percent to 10 percent in the coming 1.5 to 2 years.  In what can be termed as a revolutionary step that will boost medical education in the State, eight new medical colleges spread across different districts will be starting academic sessions from Tuesday. With this move, the number of medical seats have been tripled in just a span of eight years since the formation of Telangana.   The new medical colleges will not only be beneficial for 1,150 medical students but will also make available better medical infrastructure at the district-level, making it easier for the poor and needy to avail medical facilities without having to rush to the over-crowded State-run hospitals. These medical colleges were upgraded and attached to the existing government general hospitals.  These colleges are located at Rajanna-Siricilla, Vikarabad, Khammam, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Kumurambheem-Asifabad and Jangaon districts. National Board of Education (NBE) has postponed the NEET MDS 2023 exam date. According to the revised schedule the examination will be conducted on March 1, 2023. Previously, the NEET MDS examination was scheduled to be held on January 8, 2023. “Pursuant to the approval of the Dental Council of India vide its letter No DCI/Admissions/Admsn/NEETPG/MDS/015/ 2022-23/ 5433 dated 25.08.2022, NBEMS announced that NEET-MDS 2023 shall be tentatively held on 8th January2023”, reads the notification. It further added, “Accordingly, in supersession of the schedule for conduct of NEET-MDS 2023 as notified vide NBEMS notice dated 16.09.2022, it has been decided to re-schedule the conduct of NEET-MDS 2023 now on 1st March 2023”. NBE has also postponed the FMGE December 2022 exam to January 2023.

The report has revealed that one in four women (24%) are still experiencing inappropriate comments in the workplace or remotely via zoom and email from managers and colleagues. Only 10% of men said they have issues with similar comments meaning more than double the number of women are subjected to this. However, the survey showed that nearly twice as many men (10%) as women (6%) are experiencing homophobic behaviour and comments from colleagues or managers.
